After your shoulder surgery, it’s very important to follow the exercises recommended by your doctor or physiotherapist.
You should take painkillers 30–60 minutes before each physiotherapy session because you’ll be able to exercise more effectively if the pain is controlled. You need to continue to do your exercises at home 2–3 times every day.
Exercise aims to increase your shoulder’s range of motion, preventing stiffness, improving your grip strength and strengthening your shoulder muscles.
Don’t forget to put your arm back in your sling after each exercise session.
