Support for you and your loved ones

These health management programs are designed to support pregnant members, new parents and families.  

To access them you need to be on eligible extras cover. To find out if you’re eligible, or for more information, call us on 13 13 34 or visit your local branch. All programs have a 2 month waiting period and are subject to annual limits.

BIRTH BEAT

Birth Beat is a 100% online childbirth education course. Delivered by a registered midwife and HCF-recognised childbirth educator. It helps you prepare for a safe and empowered birth experience and beyond, and can be done from the comfort of your own home.

BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT

We offer access to breastfeeding consultations from a lactation specialist. Make sure the consultant is certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and recognised by HCF.

 

 

 

 

LEARN TO SWIM CLASSES

You may be able to claim for swimming lessons run by swim schools that are ASSA members, AUSTSWIM (Gold and Silver level) or Swim Australia swim centres. Squad training or recreational swimming isn’t covered.

EXTRA RESOURCES

If you’re an HCF member on eligible extras cover, you may also be able to claim for:

  • pregnancy compression garments
  • breastfeeding support services provided by the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
