Sydney, 24 November 2016 – In an exciting first for HCF, Australia’s leading not-for-profit health fund, a new state of the art dental centre has opened this week at Warringah Mall in Brookvale. Incorporating the latest in dental technology, the Brookvale HCF dental centre will offer best in class services to HCF members in the area.

HCF has been helping the people of Brookvale improve their oral health since 2001 when the dental centre first opened. In that time over 250,000 patients have visited the centre. The move to the new location at Warringah Mall represents an exciting step forward for the health fund in improving dental services and continuing to provide free preventive dental checks.

The new HCF Dental Centre opened on 21 November, commencing with a select number of dental chairs to service current HCF members over the Christmas and New Year period. The centre will then be in full operation from late January 2017, with 17 dental chairs, able to provide an extra 350 appointments every week.

Preventive dental care is essential to good oral health and HCF has long recognised the value of this by offering members free annual dental checks since the first HCF Dental Centre opened in 1987 at George Street, Sydney.

The Brookvale HCF development will serve as a health hub for members offering them a customer service branch, dental centre and eye care centre all in one convenient location. HCF currently operates seven dental centres located at George Street Sydney, Brookvale, Parramatta, Blacktown, Bondi Junction, Hurstville and Chatswood.
