Tests and imaging
Before surgery, in addition to a biopsy of the breast tissue, you may also need to have some tests and imaging including blood tests, a chest x-ray, and an electrocardiogram (ECG).
If any issues are raised by your tests and imaging, your surgeon may postpone or cancel your surgery.
