When you arrive, the admissions clerk will attend to the paperwork.
A nurse will ask your medical history, confirm your medications and ask you about any known allergies. If you haven’t already signed a consent form, you'll need to do so before the procedure.
An anaesthetist will visit you to discuss the type of anaesthetic that will be used.
